Select Hawaiian Airlines passengers are now being directed to expedited TSA security airport ticket lobbies at Honolulu International Airport, Kahului Airport on Maui and Airport on Kauai.

New TSA Pre✓TM lanes at those three airports have entered their first full week of service, allowing passengers identified as low-risk to clear security without removing their shoes, coats, belts, liquids or laptop computers.

Hawaiian Airlines is participating in the TSA effort to move passengers through airport security more quickly, alleviating bottlenecks that slow the check-in process. The airline has two Pre✓ TM lanes at Honolulu International Airport and one each at the Maui and Kauai airports. An additional Pre✓ lane at Kona International Airport is expected to open in 2014.

especially kama moving between islands, the majority of whom we expect to receive Pre✓TM status, . self-serve, self-tagging kiosks, these new lanes will make our check-in experience the fastest of any airline serving Hawaii.

Selection for the Pre✓TM lane will be made on a flight-by-flight basis by the TSA. As a partner in the TSA Pre✓TM program, Hawaiian Airlines will ensure that travelers selected for expedited screening will receive a boarding pass marked with the Pre✓ TM logo upon check-in at Hawaiian Airlines self-serve check-in kiosks.

This week, the TSA is expanding from 40 Pre✓ TM airports to 100 airports across the United States, with the goal of moving 50 percent of the national air travelers through expedited screening by the end of 2014.

This week, the TSA is also opening Pre✓TM lanes at Hawaiian Airlines checkpoints at Sacramento International Airport, Oakland International Airport, San Jose International Airport and San Diego International Airport.
