Tuck into a Tantalising Taiwanese High Tea at Carousel

From 3 to 31 July 2017, guests can enjoy Taiwanese delicacies without having to hop on a plane as award-winning buffet restaurant, Carousel, brings an array of delightful small bites from Taiwan’s popular night markets to its high tea meal menu.

Carousel will serve popular Taiwanese delicacies such as crispy chicken thigh with oriental spices (综合盐酥鸡), oyster mee sua (蚵仔面线), braised beef brisket noodle soup (红烧牛肉面) and a variety of braised dishes at the Taiwan Stew station (台湾卤味) such as braised chicken wings and beancurd tofu, served with assorted sauces and condiments.

Guests can also look forward to well-known savouries including oyster omelette (蚵仔煎) and pan-fried crystal bun (水煎包) which will be available at the Teppanyaki live station. Other highlights include braised seafood in bread toast (台湾棺材板), Taiwan spring roll (台湾润饼), grilled Taiwan sausages (台湾香肠) and flaky scallion pancakes (葱油饼).

For those with a sweet tooth, signature Taiwanese desserts like shaved ice with flavoured toppings and condiments (综合冰), lemon Aiyu jelly (柠檬爱玉冰) and Taiwanese pineapple tarts (台湾凤梨酥) will be available as well.

This promotion is available during the high tea meal period from 3.30pm to 5.30pm at $42++ for adults and $27++ for children on weekdays, and $48++ for adults and $32++ for children on weekends.
