Indonesia’s leading luxury art hotel brand, Tugu Hotels & Restaurants, has appointed Indo a Go-Go tourism marketing to represent it in Australia and New Zealand.
Tugu has four privately owned hotels across the archipelago:
· Tugu Bali, an art hotel in the heart of happening Canggu,
· Tugu Lombok in the luxurious and private northwest corner of Lombok Island, and
· Tugu Malang and Tugu Blitar in culturally rich East Java.
Tugu has six restaurants across Bali and Java renowned for Indonesian cuisine, exotic interior design and grand, colonial-era buildings.
Every venue is decorated with Indonesian art and antiquities from founder, Anhar Setjadibrata’s private collection, which is the largest in Indonesia.
“Inspired by ancient kingdoms and a colonial past, a stay at Tugu promises an experience unlike any other. Tastemakers who appreciate luxury travel, culture and good food are in for a treat,” says Miriam Tulevski, Managing Director, Indo a Go-Go.
Notable art pieces include:
– Cupu Manik a 16th century stone holy water bowl used by priests at Tugu Bali
– the world’s oldest Barong (traditional mask) at Tugu Lombok
– a 1,200 BC Shang dynasty mythical dragon-like creature at Tugu Malang.
