As part of the celebrations to mark this year’s Praslin Culinary & Arts Fiesta, the Seychelles’ Musicians Association and the country’s Ministry of Tourism and Culture will be honouring two musicians hailing from Praslin.

This was announced by the Minister for Tourism and Culture Alain St.Ange this week. These two musicians will join the Seychelles’ Musicians Wall of Fame located at the entrance of the National Cultural Centre in Victoria. An official ceremony will be held next week whereby these two Praslinois artists will be honoured and their stars will be unveiled. Minister St.Ange will present these two musicians with their certificates on Praslin during the three-day event next weekend.

For the Feast of the Assumption on La Digue earlier this month, four musicians from this island were honoured with their stars unveiled in the Wall of Fame. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism said that they will keep onhonouring Seychellois who have played their part in the development of Seychelles.
