It is the 15th year in a row that the carrier has received the accolade, which is based on voting by readers of the magazine.

Walter Dias, United’s managing director, Greater China and Korea Sales, was presented with the award at a ceremony at the Conrad Hong Kong Hotel attended by more than 350 senior executives representing hotels, airlines, airports and tourism boards.

“We are very excited to win this prestigious award for the 15th consecutive year,” said Dias. “It is further recognition from our customers in the region of the hard work of our employees in providing them with best-in-class and friendly service both on the ground and in the air. We will continue to strive to provide outstanding service to our customers here in Asia-Pacific and around the world.”

The Business Traveller Asia-Pacific Travel Awards are among the most prestigious in the Asia-Pacific travel industry. Organized by regional magazine “Business Traveller Asia-Pacific”, the awards are based on the results of a poll of the magazine’s subscribers, who include some of the region’s most frequent travelers. The poll was conducted between April and June this year and the results were compiled by independent marketing research company Ipsos.
