Last night, Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection, the world’s most luxurious all-inclusive river cruise line, thanked their key supporters with an exclusive night of immersive experiences at The Art Gallery of NSW.

Entering through the gallery’s grand foyer, guests were able to experience a glimpse of Uniworld’s design philosophy, by surrounding themselves with the world’s most renowned artworks, reflecting the original art of Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso and Marc Chagall found onboard Uniworld’s ships.

While sipping on G.H. Mumm Champagne, guests were welcomed by Fiona Dalton, Managing Director of Uniworld, at the Modern Australian Gallery before being taken on a private, after-hours tour of the gallery’s Masters of Modern Art from the Hermitage exhibition by local experts.

Following the private tour, Uniworld’s guests were treated to dinner at Chiswick at the Gallery with a seasonal menu designed to be shared, lending well to the brand’s own farm-to-table culinary excellence onboard, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Completing the experience was wine from the Tollman family’s boutique South African vineyard, Bouchard Finlayson.

Fiona Dalton commented, “We wanted to replicate the most memorable Uniworld experience right here in Sydney tonight, giving you, our trusted advisors, a deep and personal understanding of what sets Uniworld apart. Uniworld is renowned for our unsurpassed reputation as the world’s best and finest river cruise line, our crew live with conviction and serve with passion – something which we continue to strive to deliver every day for each of our guests. We have exciting plans for the future, and we are looking forward to an incredible year ahead with the re-launch of the S. S. Bon Voyage in Bordeaux, demonstrating  the continued investment in our fleet. We will never stop innovating in everything that we do.”

Special guest, Brett Tollman, Chief Executive of The Travel Corporation (TTC), visiting from his hometown of LA, thanked the luxury travel advisors for their support and provided insight into how the brand continues to elevate the luxury river cruising standard. He added: “I’m so proud of our brand, we’re passionate and dedicated every day, working to be the best we can truly be for our guests. It’s wonderful being in this room of remarkable individuals who work so hard at identifying what your clients want to ensure they get the most out of their holiday with Uniworld.”

The finishing touch was a live illustrator who created personalised travel quotes on hand painted watercolour mini artworks of Uniworld’s ships in Paris and Budapest. The evening concluded with a special performance by 21-year-old Perth born singer Bonnie Twigg with Trevor Stockton-Rice accompanying on the baby grand piano. The duo performed renditions of Alicia Keys, Elvis Presley and an inspiring original to round of a wonderful night.
