A five-zone interactive obstacle course, the Kung Fu Panda Academy will test trainees’ physical abilities and mental prowess. Hand-eye coordination, quickness of mind and inner peace will be essential if trainees wish to overcome the challenges, and the formidable final task that awaits them! And for the first-time ever, parents can take part and team up with their children to experience the Kung Fu Panda Academy together.
The main focus of this year’s Academy is self-confidence and believing in yourself to reach your full potential. Returning little Kung Fu Masters will learn how to build their Chi, while little Kung Fu Masters in training will take the first steps in unleashing their abilities.
Pre-Training: Coloring Po The path to believing in yourself begins with inner peace. Calmness is essential in Kung Fu, which requires precise movements, and the arts are an ideal way to train up this ability. Children can color in a picture of Po, unleashing their creativity, while following their inner voice, and when complete, use a special app to see their creation in 3D.
Zone 1: Who Are You? – Choose Your Kung Fu Style Knowing who you are is the first step in becoming who you were meant to be. Little Kung Fu Masters must believe in themselves and know themselves, and this begins with creating their very own Furious Five eye mask.
Zone 2: Strong Mind – Help Your Friends Restore Their Chi To build and unleash the full potential of your Chi, you must possess a strong mind. The second zone trains the mind – mental acuteness and observation skills – all essential to Kung Fu. Trainees must solve a complex puzzle, in order to advance to the next stage of their training.
Zone 3: Strong Body – Free Your Family and Learn Lessons from Your Elders A test of the body, little Kung Fu Masters must navigate this complex challenge that begins with a test of mental acuteness – they must find the key – before evading a ‘booby trapped gateway’ to rescue their parents.
Zone 4: Believe In Yourself – Fight Your Way to the Panda Village In the face of danger, a true Kung Fu master must never falter and must call upon all their training to overcome adversity. A test of accuracy, reflexes and mental focus, with an emphasis on calmness, little Kung Fu Masters must defeat the Jade Zombies with special “Mantous”.
Zone 5: Unleash Your Chi – Showdown with Kai The culmination of all their training, little Kung Fu Masters must focus their mind, body and soul and free the full potential of their Chi, and together with their parents, defeat a terrible enemy!
Character Meet & Greet
As a reward for leveling up or ‘graduating’ from the Kung Fu Panda Academy, trainees will receive a must-have Kung Fu Panda-themed, recyclable goodie bag comprising an ID badge, a pair of Po chopsticks, a memo pad, and a plastic folder. And of course, the Dragon Warrior himself, now a true Master, will be on hand to congratulate little Kung Fu Masters, and may even ask for a demonstration of their skills!
Kung Fu Panda Kid’s Birthday Party
For a truly unforgettable Kung Fu Panda Academy experience, families can host a private party to celebrate a special occasion or just to catch up with friends, at the Kung Fu Panda Academy. While feasting on a full range of scrumptious treats and refreshing drinks that can be hand-picked to satisfy any palate, kids will enjoy unlimited access to the Academy and can train and level-up to their heart’s content.
