USGBC and ISI to Lead Summit at Airports Going Green

The Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) and the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) are pleased to announce that the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI) will jointly lead a summit as part of the 2014 Airports Going Green Conference, on Sunday, November 2, 2014.

For the first time, the USGBC, ISI, and Airports Going Green will jointly participate in a summit to discuss the future of sustainability rating systems and their uptake in airport projects. AsLEED and Envision become more widely adopted, the summit will focus on sharing best practices among airport users, understanding parallels between LEED, Envision, and other rating systems, and discussing what lies ahead. unnamed

Plan to attend this unique opportunity on Sunday afternoon, November 2, 2014, to discuss with USGBC and ISI leadership and top Airport executives, the role of LEED and Envision certification in current and future airport sustainability projects.

The summit will be held in conjunction with the 7th Annual Airports Going Green (AGG) Conference,November 3-5, 2014, at the Chicago Westin River North.  This pre-conference Summit is free for conference attendees.
