Sky Terrace

Love is in the air at The Star’s rooftop bar, Sky Terrace. So come along and enjoy the dizzying heights and some of Sydney’s best views, with DJs from 5pm and $10 Valentine’s Day cocktail specials. So you can really spoil yourself on your special day, Sky Terrace will also have a Moët & Chandon bar set up for you to treat yourself to a glass of the finest champagne for $19.


Celebrate Valentine’s Day at The Star’s premier cocktail bar, Cherry, which offers lounge, afro beats, electro jazz and reggae DJ mixes, along with cocktails using the finest fresh ingredients. This Valentine’s Day, Cherry’s indulgent offering includes rose petals, two glasses of Moët & Chandon Nectar Impérial champagne and a dessert platter for $45. Plus DJ’s Chux and Nicc Johnson will keep you dancing the night away.

Marquee Sydney

Love a dance – and a dose of nostalgia? Then don your best 80’s prom gear and dance in to the wee hours at Marquee’s Valentine’s Prom Night. Twice voted the number one nightclub in Australia, Marquee has built an undisputed reputation as Sydney’s premier entertainment destination. DJ G-Wizard will be providing the soundtrack to your Valentine’s Day.

Love Stinks at Rock Lily

For those who simply cannot stand the mushy, lovey-dovey scene – don’t worry, The Star has got you covered. Rock Lily is The Star’s live music hub, and is stocked to the ceiling with the world’s most sought after tequilas and features some of Australia’s best live bands. Rock Lily will be going anti-love this Valentine’s Day, holding a Love Stinks party all weekend long from Friday 14 through to Sunday 16 February. Enjoy $10 “It’s Not Me, It’s You” drink specials, which include aptly named cocktails The Sex Panther and The Single Life. Party with INXS tribute band, Original Sin from 9.30pm on Valentine’s Day. And if all that fun leaves you a bit peckish, Rock Lily’s famed pulled pork tacos are just 5 for $5. Plus, there is no cover charge. Get ready to give cupid the old heave-ho.


The Star’s very own lovable Italian chef, chef Stefano Manfredi, has created a mouthwatering five course menu that features antipasti plates with buffalo mozzarella, raw fish and quail; risotto with pumpkin and goat’s cheese; grilled prawns with tomato and almond pesto; pan roasted lamb with eggplant puree and pickled carrots; and chocolate parfait with strawberry hearts.

BLACK by ezard
Chef Teague Ezard has lovingly created a five course menu that includes a complimentary glass of champagne on arrival. Eat your heart out with Hiramasa kingfish sashimi and sesame custard with edamame puree and chardonnay and shallot dressing; organic farm egg with leek cream, smoked duck prosciutto and herb salad; crispy skin ocean trout with citrus sabayon, pea puree, carrots and mint; waygu striploin with desiree potato, charred onion and mushroom; and warm couverture ganache with fresh mint ice cream, raspberry mousse and chocolate cookie.

Sokyo will be serving an a la carte menu specially created by chef Chase Kojima, who has come up with some especial dishes that you’ll adore. Includes oyster tempura with caviar ($30), asparagus with tuna and burnt leek ($28), dragon roll with avocado, barbeque eel and chocolate ($37) and fig and almond shiro-miso for dessert ($18).

The Spa at The Darling
If pampering is more up your alley, try a couples’ treatment at The Spa at The Darling, who will be paying tribute to Valentine’s Day for all of February by incorporating chocolate into their couples’ treatment. The decadent treatment starts with champagne and luscious chocolate-covered strawberries while guests enjoy a romantic bath ritual in the VIP Spa Suite, followed by a body polish with organic raw sugar, and continuing with a relaxing Swedish massage side by side. The indulgent treatment is topped off with an antioxidant-rich cocoa mini facial for ultimate pampering.
