Vanuatu Tourism Office’s (VTO) Australian representative, Anne Morris, said Vanuatu has made great progress in rebuilding and reopening tourism infrastructure and facilities, and now is the time for agents to visit Vanuatu to see it is ready to welcome tourists back.
“It’s really wonderful to see the tourism industry in Vanuatu come together and offer these amazing deals to our travel agents. Agents are instrumental in relaying the message that Vanuatu has not been devastated by Cyclone Pam and it is still operating as a fantastic holiday destination,” Ms Morris said.
“By enticing agents and their partners with these prices we’re hoping the industry’s enthusiasm for Vanuatu will return, closely followed by tourists.”
Air Vanuatu’s AUD$50 agent fare, exclusive of taxes, is available on Sydney and Brisbane flights to Port Vila, with great AUD$60 agent rates for flights from Port Vila to Espiritu Santo and Tanna.
