Vanuatu Tourism Office (VTO) has launched a new website this week, with refreshed and enhanced content specifically tailored for the Australian and New Zealand travel industries.
The website provides the vital tools needed for travel agents to best match the requirements of their customers with the destination, whilst also representing the extensive experiences Vanuatu offers.
Vanuatu Tourism Office’s general manager, Linda Kalpoi said the dedicated website and online training programme were essential tools for today’s travel industry.
“We are now in a technology savvy society and it is important that we empower our frontline representatives with the right tools and knowledge at their fingertips to best represent Vanuatu,” Ms Kalpoi said.
“The Vanuatu specialists website is a platform for travel agents to learn more about the destination, but also stay up-to-date with developments and news, and hear first about exclusive industry rates, so they can experience it all firsthand.”
The website features include: a comprehensive online training programme; videos; image library; brochures; latest news; events calendar; press releases; and details on the latest marketing campaign, including television commercial.
Agents also have the opportunity to take advantage of exclusive industry accommodation and air rates, such as Air Vanuatu’s AUD$50* airfare.
The launch of the website will also be complimented by several in-market promotions, tailored to each industry. An online training incentive will be announced and launched next month for Australian travel agents.
