Vanuatu Tourism launches ‘It Takes Two’ holiday competition

November 21, 2013 Competition No Comments Email Email

Vanuatu Tourism Office (VTO) and Air Vanuatu today launched the It Takes Two promotion, giving Australian residents the chance to win the ultimate couples’ break to Port Vila and beyond by simply submitting a two word entry: one stating how they feel before their Vanuatu escape and the second how they will feel afterwards.

The competition is hosted on the micro-site  and the prize includes return flights for two people, four nights and breakfast at Mangoes Resort in Port Vila as well airport transfers.

Entrants can build on their potential prize, making it a six night stay, by sharing the competition on social media. They will then be in the running to win the two extra nights on one of Vanuatu’s outer islands – Tanna or Espiritu Santo.

The competition, in partnership with Creative Holidays, Holiday Specialists and Air Vanuatu Holidays, will be promoted via electronic direct marketing, traditional and social media advertising.

Anne Morris, Vanuatu Tourism Office’s Australian representative said the competition has been developed to promote Vanuatu as an ideal couples’ destination.

“At only three hours flight from the east coast of Australia Vanuatu is ideal for couples looking for a short break over summer. The It Takes Two competition is timed perfectly to promote travel to Vanuatu from now until March, specifically to those busy couples who want to start the year fresh after a romantic holiday away.”

The competition, which launched today is open for entries until 8 December, 2013.
