Vendors Sought For 28th Guam Micronesia Island Fair

The Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) is seeking vendors for the 28th Guam Micronesia Island Fair (GMIF) to be held on May 15-17, 2015 at Governor Joseph Flores Memorial (Ypao Beach) Park in Tumon.

GMIF is the annual signature cultural event for GVB, showcasing the vibrant cultures of Micronesia. For 28 years, Guam has been the hub for this region of the world to come together to celebrate the rich history and culture of the Federates States of Micronesia, Rota, Saipan, Tinian, as well as the republics of Kiribati, Nauru, the Marshall Islands, and Palau.

The three-day family friendly event will feature cultural entertainment, music, arts and crafts, food, pop-up shops and community organizations. Admission to this event is open to the public and free of charge.

Vendor applications are available at www.visitguam.com or at the GVB office in Tumon. The deadline to submit is Friday, April 10, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. Those interested can also call GVB at 646-5278.
