Vietjet Jubilantly Inaugurates Dalat (Vietnam) to Bangkok (Thailand) route

Vietjet yesterday welcomed its first flight from Dalat (Vietnam) to Lien Khuong International airport, Bangkok (Thailand) in true celebratory manner.

Entranced by Vietjet’s signature in-flight activation performance, passengers on board the inaugural flight were also warmly welcomed by representatives from the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism, Ministry of Transport, the Aviation Administration of Vietnam, provincial authorities and other Thai and Vietnamese agencies.

According to Vietjet, the introduction of the new route is in line with the airline’s efforts to enhance bilateral ties between Vietnam and Thailand in trade and investment, as well as serve the growing travel demands of the two cities.

The inauguration of the new route marks a truly momentous celebration for Vietjet as it is the first airline to operate the Bangkok – Dalat route. The airline also recently inaugurated two other new flights connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Chiang Mai and Phuket, increasing Vietjet’s total routes between Vietnam and the Land of Smiles (Thailand) to six.

Operating a return flight every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday with a flight time of approximately one hour and forty-five minutes per leg, the Dalat – Bangkok route departs from Dalat at 12.55pm and arrives in Bangkok at 2.30pm (local time). The return flights take off at 10.30am in Bangkok (local time) and lands in Dalat at 12.15pm.
