Vietjet has further demonstrated its ascendant position as a leader in Asian aviation, signing today a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) focusing on collaborative cooperation from 2019 to 2021 with Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture, Sports & Tourism (VNAT), and winning the award for the Best Service Foreign Low-Cost Carrier at the Korea Prestige Brand Awards 2019 yesterday.

The MoU between VNAT and Vietjet was inked to introduce Vietnam’s beauty, people and tourism to the world, including by increasing promotion in mass media, conducting market researches, and promoting Vietnam as a land of countless enticing destinations at international tourism fairs.

The award for best service foreign low-cost carrier was accepted in an awards ceremony in Seoul on behalf of Vietjet by Deputy Director of Commercial, Jay L Lingeswara. The Korea Prestige Brand Awards is hosted by Korea Economic Daily newspaper with the sponsorship of Korea Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and Korea Brand Management Association. The awards took into consideration the results of a survey conducted with thousands of consumers in Korea. According to the organizer, Vietjet was selected for its reasonable prices, excellent service, and high consumer satisfaction.

“It’s a great honor for Vietjet to receive the Best Service Foreign Low-Cost Carrier,” says Lingeswara. “Currently, we operate eight routes between Vietnam and Korea and going to have the ninth route Nha Trang – Busan in July this year. With a desire to bring exciting flight experiences to Korean customers, our flight crew currently has many Korean pilots and flight attendants, who are friendly and ready to assist local passengers. Moreover, the modern and new Airbus fleet, flexible and saving fare, and hot and delicious inflight meals are also the factors that help Vietjet to be well received in the Korean market.”
