Viking Cruises, the world’s leading river cruise line, has re-released their new 2014 River Cruises Atlas and extended the early bird discount of $1,000* per couple for the 2014 cruising season. The new brochure offers market specific offers as well as AUD pricing and exclusive offers to the Australian and New Zealand markets.

The vessels featured for the Australian & New Zealand market are the newest Longships with the most cutting edge features, and the itineraries now include new destinations such as Portugal, Burma, a new way to see Bordeaux as well as Old European favourites such as Grand European 250x250Tour and European Odyssey.

Teresia Fors, Managing Director Viking Cruises said, “We are meeting the increased demand for river cruising by introducing 30 new ships over a three year period. By the end of 2014, Viking will have seen the most rapid fleet expansion program in the history of cruising.”

Viking Cruises are offering 22 itineraries in 2014 ranging from 8 to 23 days. Whilst the majority of Viking’s river cruises are in Europe, the company is also a Russia specialist boasting a comprehensive journey along the Volga, Neva and Svir between Moscow and St.Petersburg.

The Early Bird Discount has also been extended for the 2014 cruising season making popular cruises, such as the Grand European Tour, even more appealing.
