Villa Punto de Vista, an exclusive 10-bedroom private villa located in Manuel Antonio Bay, is the Winner of the 2016 Condé Nast Johansens Awards for Excellence. The winners were revealed at the 34th annual Awards Dinner at The May Fair Hotel in London on the Nov. 2, 2015.
Villa Punto de Vista
“I am delighted to tell you that Villa Punto de Vista is the Winner of the 2016 Condé Nast Johansens Awards for Excellence in the Best Villa or Serviced Apartment category for Canada, USA, Mexico & Central America,” said Christien Johnson.
While many villas are situated in picturesque locales around the world, few have Villa Punto de Vista’s unique panoramic views of both lush, green mountains within a private rainforest reserve and sparkling sea. The vision of the fully-staffed villa was to combine the privacy a villa offers with the activities and amenities a hotel provides all within an eco-friendly structure.
“Punto de Vista has become a coveted spot for nature-lovers seeking a private retreat in the rainforest butted up to the sea,” said Johnson. “Families, wedding parties and businesses come here to relax and rejuvenate.”
Villa Punto de Vista Offers:
- Accommodation for up to 27 residents and a capacity for 100 special events guests.
- Ten bedrooms spread out amongst five-storeys to take advantage of the panoramic views.
- Luxury amenities including a fourth-floor dining terrace and a sixth-floor rooftop terrace with infinity pool and full bar.
- Nearby access to white-sand beaches, Manuel Antonio National Park and Marina Pez Vela.
A Luxury Villa with Sustainable Design
Each of the 10 suites is uniquely designed and furnished with locally-produced and renewable teak wood furniture and locally-quarried rose sandstone. Recycled tempered glass walls allow guests to enjoy soaring, majestic views above the rainforest. To top off the building, unique roof tiles made of recycled plastic bags were used. Throughout the design and building process, all steps were carefully planned out to minimize the environmental footprint and use sustainable materials wherever possible.
