Virgin Australia has added flights to help country music fans and musicians travel to the 2016 Toyota Country Music Festival in Tamworth.
A total of six flights have been added to the existing schedule between Sydney and Tamworth during peak travel periods for festival-goers, and Virgin Australia has also added six special services between Brisbane and Tamworth for the event.
Country musician Troy Cassar-Daley welcomed the additional Virgin Australia flights during the Country Musical Festival.
“Getting in and out of Country Music Capitol Tamworth during the festival used to be so hard at times, with very limited flights available,” Mr Cassar-Daley said.
“Now you can cross this amazing event off your bucket list by flying in and out on Virgin Australia.
“They are adding more flights over the festival, making it easier for everyone to enjoy ten days of entertainment with us. See you in 2016 with Virgin!”
Now on sale, the additional services will not just assist music fans heading to this major event but also the country’s finest artists travelling to perform at the festival.
Over the past few years, Virgin Australia has become the music industry’s preferred airline through a range of initiatives including an exclusive baggage allowance that supports touring artists.
