Crystal Cruises, the world’s most awarded luxury cruise line, was recognized by international luxury travel network Virtuoso® as the winner of Best Luxury Cruise Line at the 27th Annual Virtuoso Awards, which honor the network’s finest travel advisors, agencies and preferred partners.

Virtuoso recognized the line at its gala dinner on August 13, at Bellagio Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, which closed the annual Virtuoso Travel Week conference. Hosted by Virtuoso Chairman and CEO Matthew D. Upchurch, the gala attracted more than 2,700 attendees, including some of the biggest names in luxury travel.

“It is with high regard that we accept this Virtuoso Award as it is a representation of the exemplary service and tireless effort that our Crystal team on land and at seas demonstrates,” said Edie Rodriguez, President & CEO of Crystal Cruises. “It is such a great honor for the second consecutive year to be recognized by such influential luxury travel professionals.”

The Virtuoso Awards allow travel industry peers to recognize each other’s accomplishments. The network’s travel providers vote for agencies and advisors, while agency members vote for preferred suppliers. This year Virtuoso received more than 12,000 votes from advisors and suppliers.

“Virtuoso’s selective acceptance process means that only the world’s top travel professionals are part of our network,” Upchurch said. “Because of that, the peer-to-peer Virtuoso Awards are an especially valued industry recognition. Winners such as Crystal Cruises elevate this network and the entire luxury travel industry with their unique contributions.”
