Visitors planning a trip to historic Eureka Springs can now buy tram tour tickets through YourPassNow.com, a digital marketplace that makes it easy and convenient for visitors to purchase electronic passes, permits, and tickets to public lands online. Eureka Springs is the first city in the nation to join a growing list of U.S. public lands that offer digital access through YourPassNow.

The City of Eureka Springs partnered with the Information Network of Arkansas (INA)—the state’s official provider of digital government services—to offer travelers convenient, secure electronic tickets to the city’s Historic Tram Tours. Once purchased, tickets can be downloaded or stored to an electronic wallet for immediate and future use. They are also emailed for those that want to print their pass or permit. City officials simply scan the electronic or printed tickets before boarding the tram.

“We want to simplify the planning process for visitors to our beautiful city,” said Eureka Springs Transit Director Ken “Smitty” Smith. “With just a few taps on their smartphone, visitors can buy tram tour tickets right from the comfort of their own home. This saves time, helps avoid overcrowding, and gives our guests a better travel experience.”

Developed in cooperation with the National Park Service, YourPassNow provides an alternative to the traditional paper-based, in-person purchase method while simultaneously providing public lands with a tool to help manage the visitor experience.

Eureka Springs joins the following public lands currently providing digital access through YourPassNow: Acadia, Everglades, Grand Canyon, Theodore Roosevelt, Sequoia and Kings Canyon, Yellowstone, and Yosemite National Parks; Castillo de San Marcos and Colorado National Monuments; Whiskeytown National Recreation Area; Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area; Wayne National Forest; and the Bureau of Land Management’s Lake Havasu Field Office.

You can buy tickets for Eureka Springs Historic Tram Tours by visiting YourPassNow.com and selecting the tour from the drop-down menu.
