Winner of the PBIM 2014 Poster Design Competition

The Penang Bridge International Marathon (PBIM) committee has recently announced the winners of the PBIM 2014 Poster Design Competition. In second place (green and pink poster) is John Khor Yee Chun from Nibong Tebal who won a cash prize of RM1,000.00 and in first place (blue poster) is Ong Wai Chuen from Puchong who won RM2,000.00. The winning design will be used for this year’s promotional materials which include the flyers, posters, billboards, advertisements, web banner, runners guidebook and more.

The Penang Bridge International Marathon will be held on 16 November 2014.

Gurney Plaza opens registration for ‘Cycle for Charity’

Gurney Plaza is co-organising ‘Cycle for Charity 2014’ with Pusat Khidmat ADUN Pulau Tikus, MPPP and Metro Bikes which will take place on 22 March 2014 from 7.00am outside the mall. The aim of this event is to aid Penang Shan Children’s Home Association as 10% of the proceeds collected will be donated to the home. It is also held in conjunction with Earth Hour 2014.

The 18-km cycling route covers Gurney Plaza, Gurney Drive, Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah, Lebuh Farquhar, Lebuh Light, Jalan Tun Syed Sheh Barakbah (Esplanade), Weld Quay, Lebuhraya Tun Dr. Lim Chong Eu, IJM Promenade, Jalan Larut, Jalan Burmah, Jalan Pangkor, Jalan Kelawei…
