Deepavali  Celebration 2014

Date: 23 October 2014

The Festival of Lights, better known as Deepavali or Diwali, is a public holiday here in Malaysia and is celebrated by the Hindu Community. This festival is celebrated with joy, excitement, bright lights and an even brighter smile!

During the wait for the arrival of this festival, homes of the Hindu community is light up with the traditional ‘vilakku’ which are oil lamps made out of clay, colourful light bulbs and the decorative designs of ‘kolam’ which are decorated out of coloured rice or beans into fascinating patterns of flowers.

ASICS Penang Bridge International Marathon Registration and Race Pack Collection

Please be informed that the registration for the Full Marathon, Half Marathon and 10 KM Run Categories is now CLOSED.

However, if you would like to join the run, Fun Run (7km) Category is still Open for registration.

ASEAN Tourism & Fashion Fair 2014

Date: 8 November 2014

Venue: Maritime Automall, Penang

The inagural Asean Tourism & Fashion Fair will be held of the 8 November 2014 at the Maritime Automall, Penang. The event will be graced by the Chief Minister of Penang, YAB Lim Guan Eng, as well as the delegates from the 10 ASEAN countries and 6 other international members.

The event is organized in conjunction with the Visit Malaysia Year 2014 and the prelude to Visit Penang 2015.

The fair serves to elevate Penang’s tourism industry to an international level and as a platform for diplomatic relations with other ASEAN member countries.

Harlem Yu I Wana Give You World Tour

Venue: SPICE ARENA

Harlem Yu also known as the Godfather of Mandopop will be performing at the SPICE  ARENA , Penang on the 11 Oct 2014. Penang is the first stop of the I Wanna Give U World Tour.

Yu will be performing  his famous tunes, including Kao Jin (Getting Closer), Rang Wo Yi Ci Ai Ge Gou (Give You All My Love), and also newer hits such as Guan Bu Diao De Yue Guang (The Moonlight That Can’t Be Turned Off) from his latest album Hai Xiao (Tidal Wave) which has won the Golden Melody Award , Qing Fei De Yi (Can’t Help Falling In Love from the  Taiwanese TV drama Liu Xing Hua Yuan (Meteor Garden).
