The Johnson, Art Series Hotel Group’s newest hotel scheduled to open this September, commenced their recruitment process on Tuesday 28 June by holding the first step of their ‘Vivid Encounters’. The recruitment drive had over 70 applicants in attendance vying to fill the positions for of the dedicated Front of House team for the Group’s first Brisbane hotel. The day was filled with fun and exciting activities, including a challenge to see how many people they could manage to squeeze into one of their branded Smart Cars.
The Vivid Encounters gave applicants a chance to truly experience the Group’s unique brand in action. As part of the recruitment process the candidates were able to take part in lateral thinking challenges, get-to-know-you sessions and even an art station, where they got their creative juices flowing to paint a Michael Johnson inspired artwork. Hopefuls also received complimentary food and beverages throughout the day and took away an art inspired gift bag and $20 vouchers to The Johnsons dedicated restaurant Tumbling Stone.
Hosted by Andrew Edsor, The Johnson’s General Manager the first of the Vivid Encounters were held at the High Church Brisbane from 10am to 5pm.
