egtmedia59The Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA) has congratulated all nominees for the 2016 National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA) and voting is now open. More than 800 nominations were received across the 37 award categories.
As with previous years, popular nominee categories were Best Travel Agency Retail – Single Location, Best Travel Consultant – Retail, Best Travel Agency Manager – Retail Single Location and the Emirates Travel Consultant Scholarship.

An impressive number of nominations were also received across the supplier categories: Best Tourist Office – International, Best Speciality Wholesaler and Best Sales Executive.

There’s even a Best Travel Writer category, with 22 names in the ring for that.

There are two separate voting forms: one for travel agents to use when voting in the supplier categories and one for suppliers to use when voting in the travel agent categories. Participants may vote for up to five nominees in each category.

The full list of nominees is available here.
