Voyages Ayers Rock Resort scoops Territory Tourism Awards

Voyages Ayers Rock Resort has been presented with three prestigious Northern Territory Tourism awards this week.


Firstly, at the Tourism Central Australia Awards, Field of Light, Uluru won the Festivals and Events Category and the entire Resort was awarded best Large Tourism Operator for the region.  Following this success, at the Australian Hotel Association (NT) Gold Plate Awards the Night at Field of Light dining experience was named Best Tourism Themed Restaurant.

Andrew Williams, Voyages Chief Executive Officer, commented: “These accolades are a great recognition of the achievements of the entire team at Voyages in developing innovative tourism experiences and delivering excellent guest service.”

The 10th annual Tourism Central Australia Awards took place at the stunning Rocky Hill Table Grape Farm in Alice Springs on 7 October, celebrating outstanding products, successes and the hard work of the tourism industry in Central Australia.

The 2016 Australian Hotel Association (NT) ALM Gold Plate Awards took place at SKYCITY Darwin on 10 October 2016, attended by more than 300 people including the NEW Northern Territory Minister for Tourism, Lauren Moss. The awards recognise the diversity of restaurants in the Northern Territory, as well as the importance of hospitality staff.

“Combining premium food & beverage offerings with the stunning Field of Light, Uluru at A Night at Field of Light is a standout experience, and we are delighted that this has been recognised in such high regard at the AHA (NT) Gold Plate Awards,” said Andrew.
