Short on time but long for a fantastic lunch? The Kitchen Table invites busy Bangkokians to ‘Rush Hour Lunch’! New quick lunch sets available from January to March 2016 fully square with busy schedules while ensuring a satisfying and delicious mid-day meal. Guests have a choice between three distinctive two- or three-course set menus comprising of appetizer, main course and dessert, with vegetarian options available as well.
Among appetizers are oven-slow-roasted pork belly with chili bean paste, fresh lettuce and cucumber kimchi; tomato and lemongrass soup with baguette croutons and basil-infused olive oil; and Caesar salad of tossed romaine lettuce with creamy parmesan dressing.
Main course choices include roasted Wagyu beef sandwich on onion bread with lemon-basil mayonnaise, arugula, home-made pickles and steak fries; linguini with prawn and baby artichokes scented with lemon and thyme sauce; and Pad Thai Ghoong, traditional fried rice noodles with tiger prawns accompanied by a sweet tamarind sauce.
For dessert, lunch guests will be tempted by the cappuccino crème brûlée espresso caramelized cream topped with mascarpone espuma and spicy bread sticks; “sweetness of lemongrass” light lemongrass cream with aloe vera salsa, carrot pearls and crushed hazelnuts streusel; in addition to fresh tropical fruit and home-made ice cream & sorbet selections.
