Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts Debuts Unforgettable Stories Video Series Featuring its Global Luxury Properties

Filmed in Chicago, Rome, Berlin and Shanghai, the cinematic, documentary-style series of Unforgettable Stories features cultural tastemakers and notable figures who have played a role in shaping Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts’ unique and inspirational environments.

Subjects include chefs, fashion designers and even the Berlin Zoo Biologist, who leads the Waldorf Astoria Berlin’s exclusive after-hours tour of the zoo.

The inaugural video by one of Hilton Worldwide’s two luxury brands, starring world-renowned Chef Heinz Beck, takes viewers on a virtual tour of one of Rome’s bustling farmers markets, shares the chef’s philosophies on food culture and divulges the secrets behind his three Michelin-starred restaurant, La Pergola, at Rome Cavalieri, Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts.

Other videos in the Unforgettable Stories pipeline include: a visit to the factory and atelier of Howard Harris, the artist behind the epic iron curtain sculpture in the Waldorf Astoria Chicago lobby; a glimpse into “gladiator school” at the legendary Rome Cavalieri, Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts; and a primer on Chinese Traditional medicine offered at the elegant Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund.

Other tastemakers featured in Unforgettable Stories include: art historian and curator, Alessandra Massini; the legendary, Michelin-starred Chef Pierre Gagnaire from Waldorf Astoria Berlin; Tom Hogan, Mixologist at Bernard’s bar at Waldorf Astoria Chicago; and Lisa Simeone and Gina Deary of Simeone Deary Design Group.
