The St. Joe Company (NYSE:JOE) announced today that its WaterColor Inn & Resort has received for the second year in a row a Four-Star rating from Forbes Travel Guide.

The WaterColor Inn & Resort, which is a component of St. Joe Club & ResortsSM, is one of only 20 hotels in Florida to earn this honor.

“We’re thrilled to receive this designation for a second time,” said Patrick Murphy, Vice President of Operations for The St. Joe Company. “Excellence in service and accommodations is what WaterColor Inn & Resort strives to provide guests. While we are always honored with each award or accolade it receives, the acclamation we value most is the satisfaction of guests. In response, the timing is right to build upon our success and expand our luxury vacation homemanagement operations throughout the 30A region.”

Traditionally, St. Joe has only managed luxury homes and condominiums in its real estate developments of the WaterColor and WaterSound Beach communities, but began offering management services in November 2013 to homeowners in communities along the prestigious Highway 30A. Homeowners who choose St. Joe Club & Resorts to manage their vacation home may become members of St. Joe Club and Resorts, which will provide them and their rental guests access to amenities and benefits not offered by other vacation rental companies in the 30A area.

“We are adding value to homeowners for choosing St. Joe Club & Resorts rental management over that of other vacation rental companies,” continued Murphy. “Registered guests and the owners of St. Joe-managed vacation homes will enjoy access to Camp Creek® Golf Club, the Beach Club at WaterSound®, Shark’s Tooth Golf Club as well as other facilities during their vacations.”

“Whether guests stay at the WaterColor Inn or at one of the vacation rental homes, we are dedicated to ensuring each guest’s experience is memorable with the level of hospitality and service exceeding expectations,” said Andrew Czarnecki, General Manager of Resort Operations for WaterColor Inn & Resorts. “We are committed to providing a high-end resort experience during their entire visit from a seamless check-in, to offering numerous activities and award-winning dining to a smooth departure.”

Other accolades the WaterColor Inn & Resort has received in 2014 include: a Four Diamond rating by AAA, Condé Nast Traveler’s prestigious “Platinum Circle” and “Gold List” as well as listed on its “Top 100 Resort Spas in the United States,” the WeddingWire Couple’s Choice AwardsTM as well as rated #11 for Best Hotels in Florida by U.S. News & World Report and listed as an Andrew Harper’s Recommended Hotel. Condé Nast Traveler’s Platinum Circle recognizes a consistency in excellence for properties that make its Gold List five years in a row. The Couples’ Choice Awards recognizes a business as among the top five percent of wedding professionals nationwide. WaterColor Inn’s Fish Out of Water® restaurant has received for the second year in a row Florida Trend’s Golden Spoon Award.
