Express Ticketing is pleased to announce that Jayson Westbury, Chief Executive of the Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA) is confirmed as one of the main guest presenters at the Independent Travel Group Business Forum being held in Hong Kong from 21-24 November.

Mr Westbury will present to the Group on the current arrangements being developed under the travel industry transition plan (TITP) with AFTA as they start to move towards the new accreditation scheme.  He will also provide an update on AFTA’s initiatives to consumers as to why they should be ensuring they are using an AFTA Accredited Travel Agent. Time will be set aside for questions from delegates following the presentation.

CEO of Express Ticketing, Tom Manwaring said “the ITG forum gives all attendees a unique opportunity to engage in two-way dialogue structured to enhance business development for both agents and suppliers. With the inclusion of AFTA, top keynote speakers and range of relevant panel discussions, this Forum looks to be one of our most exciting programmes to date.”

Other keynote speakers include finance journalist Michael Pascoe and social media marketing expert, Kim McKay.

The forum and accommodation is at the 5-star W Hong Kong hotel in Kowloon.
