unnamed (1)Westin Hotels & Resorts, part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Inc., today announced the launch of Holiday After the Holiday, a promotion that acknowledges the stress of holiday travel and reinforces the way Westin delivers better vacation days through wellness. Beginning today through January 2016, Westin is encouraging guests to get the most out of the little time they take away from work – whether they are eager to get in extra runs on the slopes, play unlimited rounds of golf, spend the day at the spa, or simply have an excuse to stay one more night.

Holiday After the Holiday is part of the Westin brand’s integrated advertising campaign, “You Need Better Vacation Days,” which launched this fall following extensive media coverage about Americans leaving vacation days unused at the end of each year.

“The holidays are a great time to celebrate with loved ones, but it is also a hectic time filled with traveling, hosting and indulging,” said Bob Jacobs, Vice President, Brand Management, Westin Hotels & Resorts. “As Americans are taking fewer and fewer vacation days, we want to encourage our guests to take time to recover from their holidays with Westin, where guests leave feeling better than they did when they arrived.”

Holiday After the Holiday highlights Westin’s unique portfolio of resorts and underscores the brand’s commitment to guests’ well-being when traveling for leisure. Featuring the best spa, sun, ski and golf offers, the promotion is designed to cater to couples, families and solo travelers. Some promotions include:
