Sun Country Airlines flying to Sonoma County in August
Travelers from the Midwest will be able to fly direct from Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport (MSP) to Charles M. Schulz – Sonoma County Airport (STS) beginning in August 2017, when Sun Country Airlines starts its new seasonal service.

Giving its passengers a direct gateway to Sonoma Wine Country, Sun Country will fly one round-trip flight weekly for 15 weeks, departing MSP on Thursdays and returning Sundays, Aug. 24 through Dec. 3. Founded in 1982 by a small group of Minneapolis-St. Paul pilots and flight attendants, Sun Country Airlines now serves 40 cities.

With the addition of Sun Country, five airlines will be flying out of STS: Alaska (Los Angeles, Orange County, Portland, and Seattle), Allegiant (Las Vegas), American (Phoenix), Sun Country (Minneapolis), and United (San Francisco).
