The Australian Federation of Travel Agents is delighted to announce that voting is now open for consumers to nominate their favourite travel agent as part of the new NTIA award category, People’s Choice: Retail Travel Agency of the Year.
For NTIA 2016, AFTA has collaborated with Australian Traveller Media to bring this exciting new award category to the NTIA aimed at elevating bricks and mortar suburban ATAS travel agencies in the hearts and minds of consumers.
The Retail Travel Agency of the Year will be determined by consumers through accumulation of votes through the existing annual People’s Choice Awards program run by Australian Traveller Media.
Voting is now open and ATAS accredited travel agencies are encouraged to get their clients voting! Consumers who vote will go in the draw to win a luxury APT Mekong River cruise, worth $15,890.
Consumers can submit their vote via the online survey or by completing a hardcopy form in the January edition of International Traveller Magazine.
Voting will remain open until Wednesday 23 March, 5pm (AEDT).
State Finalists will be announced in April with the overall winner announced at the NTIA Gala Dinner on Saturday 16 July at the Dockside Pavilion Darling Harbour.
