A $200 discount on Best of Peru, a new small group tour of South America and luxury lodge packages are among the highlights of Tempo Holidays’ 2013 Latin America brochure.
The new brochure features itineraries ranging from half-day sightseeing to 21-day tours across Argentina, Belize, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay.
To celebrate the launch, Tempo is taking $200 off its popular 15-day Best of Peru – Bronze package which includes Lima, Arequipa, Colca Canyon, Lake Titicaca, Cuzco and a scenic train journey to Machu Picchu from $1892* per person twin share when booked 25 August – 30 November 2012.
The offer is valid for travel February – March; and November – December 2013.
New for 2013 is the 17-day Grand Tour of South America, a small group tour of no more than 25 which begins in Lima crossing the Andes to Lake Titicaca before continuing to Buenos Aires, Iguazu Falls and Rio de Janeiro from $6417* per person twin share.
Other new tours include a 7-day Luxury Lodge Trek, which stays in lodges along the Salcantay Trail to Machu Picchu from $3040* per person twin share; and the 12-day Best of Argentina including Buenos Aires, Iguazu Falls and the glaciers of Patagonia from $1730* per person twin share.
Tempo has also introduced short lodge stays including the Mashpi Lodge - a luxury hideaway in the cloud forests of the Ecuadorian Andes only 2.5 hours from Quito.
In Chile, a 5% discount applies when booking 2 ‘explora’ lodges and an 8% discount when booking three.
Popular tours returning in 2013 include Tempo’s exclusive 5-day Rio Carnival Extravaganza which includes premium tickets in section 9 of theSambodromo Grandstand to watch the colourful parade and a full day tour of Rio from $1930* per person twin share.
Also returning is the 5-day Discover Cuzco & Machu Picchu - now staying in more boutique, centrally located hotels – and cruises through theGalapagos Islands ranging from 4 to 8 days.
