The sale agreement will see Wild Bush Luxury continue to manage the sales and marketing function for the exclusive property located in Western Australia, which will continue to operate under the Wild Bush Luxury brand.

Wild Bush Luxury CEO, Charles Carlow, says the sale will see Sal Salis continue to operate and will also allow Wild Bush Luxury to invest in further developing its other remote properties – Arkaba and Bamurru.

“We are pleased to continue to market Sal Salis under the Wild Bush Luxury banner and this will allow us to focus on the continual improvement of Arkaba in South Australia and Bamurru in the Northern Territory,” Charlie said.

“It has been a great privilege to create an award-winning tourism offering at Sal Salis and I am thrilled to have encouraged so many people to experience the stunning natural environment of Ningaloo Reef.  I have always thought that Sal Salis is one of the most magical spots in Australia.

“Wild Bush Luxury will continue to promote Sal Salis, manage the marketing and bookings for the property but the operation of the property on the ground in Western Australia will now be managed by Stewart and Sally Cranswick.”

The camp continues to be a member of Luxury Lodges of Australia.

Sal Salis Ningaloo Reef, a remote, beachside safari camp nestled in the dunes of Western Australia’s Cape National Park, offers guests an idyllic base for experiencing the area’s beautiful and wild surroundings. The camp’s nine spacious, free-standing, raised safari tents have been designed to blend seamlessly with their location and in keeping with Wild Bush Luxury’s sustainable tourism ethos, have been built with minimal impact on the natural environment. The camp’s small size ensures its impact on the environment is minimal throughout its operations and through the property’s thoughtful design, guests are naturally exposed to the striking sights and sounds of the wilderness around them.

One of the key highlights of Sal Salis and Ningaloo Reef is the area’s renowned whale shark season which is currently underway. Running from April until July, guests staying at Sal Salis are invited to book a day tour with these gentle giants.
