Wild weather brings the action to Sydney for Red Bull Cape Fear

Justin Allport -  Red Bull Cape Fear 2016 Sydney, AustraliaAfter an impressive day of skill from all competing riders, Red Bull Cape Fear has been postponed.

The competition format was altered to ensure safety in the current surf conditions. As such, surfers were towed-in and heats which ran for 60 minutes, with four competitors in each heat.

Currently leading the pack is Justin Allport with a score of 15.25, ahead of Russell Bierke and Evan Faulks in second and third places respectively.

Hitting the break this morning were the following surfers:

  • Heat 1  – Justen Allport (AUS),  Jesse Pollock (AUS), Blake Thornton (AUS),  James “Rooster” Adams (AUS)
  • Heat 2 –  Riley Laing (AUS), Russell Bierke (AUS), Richie Vaculik (AUS), Evan Faulks (Aus)
