Wilderness Touring, the private touring division of Wilderness Safaris, has increased its Cape Town fleet with the acquisition of two new VW T5 Kombi touring vehicles and one new VW Touran.

This brings the total to 15 vehicles and reduces the average age of the fleet to below one year. The fleet comprises Hyundai H1s (7-seaters), VW T5s (7-seaters), and VW Tourans (3-seaters).

“Each of these models has been selected with comfort and viewing capability requirements in mind”, says Managing Director of Wilderness Touring Cape, James Ramsay.

Wilderness Touring has also enabled the fleet with complimentary Wi-Fi access. This can be requested prior to arrival, or by guests upon arrival, subject to availability.

“In an increasingly technology-focused world, guests appreciate having the option of staying in touch with family and friends and using personal gadgets to share their holiday experiences whilst on the go“, says Ramsay. “However, we have seen that with the incredible scenery and experiences Cape Town has to offer, most people still relish the opportunity to disconnect from technology for a while”.

Wilderness Touring has offices, vehicles and guides in Cape Town, Victoria Falls and Livingstone. It offers a wide range of full- and half-day excursion options for guests ranging from scheduled group tours to fully inclusive private touring.
