Make your Instagram inspiration a reality! On 1 September 2017Centennial Parklands will host its first Inside Dig – a new 1.5 hour workshop on the secrets of growing and styling succulents, complete with wine, antipasto spread and great company.

Participants will meet Yates horticulturalist Angie Thomas in this unique class designed to combine a fun, relaxed social setting with beginner gardening tips.

“This is a great new hands on experience which will help you tell your Senecio from your Sedum” said Angie Thomas.

“Today many of us are living in homes with balcony gardens rather than traditional backyards, this shouldn’t mean you can’t enjoy the benefits of gardening!

“Succulents are so versatile and hardy and you can grow them in a range of conditions. Think indoor plantings for your coffee table, a stylish corner cluster for your balcony – even a miniature fairy garden for a child – there are so many trends emerging!”

Participants will get to take home their own succulent creation and learn how to keep it looking great.
