Wine makers’ Wine Brunch at Le Bistro: Tradition and Modernity for Renaissance of Casual Bordeaux

Coinciding with the Wine & Dine Festival, upscale French bistro Le Bistro Winebeast will host a wine tasting brunch on Sat, 28 October 2017 from 12pm to 4pm with 3 dynamic winemakers who represent the renaissance of Bordeaux casual wines. Honing in their entrepreneurial and wine experience on how they took over family-owned properties, kept alive winemaking traditions, blended in new techniques while and created new wine styles to match with current consumer tastes.

Renowned wine expert, president of the Fédération des Grands Vins de Bordeaux and owner of family business Château Lauduc since1919, Hervé Grandeau joins us at the brunch offering exquisite wines of great value for money.

One of the 3 hosts and owner of Domaine du Salut/Château Huradin – appellations Graves and Cérons,Aurélia Caumont left the Parisian life to move back to her native area of Bordeaux and to become a winemaker. She and her husband, Frédéric Caumont together work on developing casual and zesty wines from sustainable wine growing techniques.

Fifth generation winemaker of 28-hectare vineyard of Château Loupiac-Gaudiet, Nicolas Sanfourche has been at the family estate since 2014, working alongside his parents to bring the wine to the next level. Made into wine in special tanks and aged in oak barrels for 12 months, Château Loupiac-Gaudiet offers a perfect balance of fruitiness and oak flavour, with delicious notes of vanilla and a hint of menthol freshness.

Their large wine ranges are the illustration of their respective personality, journey and technical inclination: zesty and fruity wines to be shared with family and friends on casual meals, as well as for cheerful celebrations.

Chef Johan Ducroquet of Le Bistro Winebeast will create a special brunch menu with dishes which will pair well with this large selection of delicious casual wines.
