The Korea MICE Bureau (KMB) is sending the lucky winner of its recent website relaunch event on a round-trip to Korea including accommodation, while 53 other participants will also receive prizes for taking part.Designed to raise awareness of KMB services and its online resource, koreaconvention.org, the promotion follows a series of upgrades to the site designed to improve its offerings for meeting planners, such as the new Request for Proposal function.
To participate, entrants were asked to respond to the question, “What is the official website of the Korea MICE Bureau?” and supply their personal details to be eligible for a prize. A total of 54 winners will be receiving the following:
• 1st Prize: Roundtrip flights to Korea + 2 Nights at a 5-star Hotel (1 winner)
• 2nd Prize: Samsung Gear 360 (3 winners)
• 3rd Prize: $20 Amazon Gift Card (50 winners)
An announcement of the winners will be posted on the site on December 9th. Winners will also be notified individually around the same period.
A division of the Korea Tourism Organization, the Korea MICE Bureau serves to promote Korea as an attractive and competitive destination for international business events. It also works with meeting planners to ensure their Korea-hosted events are as successful as possible, through a range of financial, marketing, and other forms of support.
The official KMB website contains a wealth of information to aid these efforts, including venue and accommodation, databases, meeting planner and incentive case study guides, recommended activities for large-scale visiting groups, and more. The new Request for Proposal page not only allows submission of event specifications, but also enables event planners to track the progress of their application.
“We want koreaconvention.org to be the ultimate planning tool for all events in Korea,” said KTO MICE Promotion Team Director Hee Jin Cho. Our aim is to make life as easy as possible for organizers, along with showing them that Korea is an accessible, friendly meetings destination,” she added.
The Korea MICE Bureau would like to thank everyone for taking part!
