Port Stephens’ multi-award winning brewer, Murray’s Craft Brewing Co, promises to warm things up this June long weekend with some sure-fired winter repellants – weird and wonderful limited edition dark beers, finger lickin’ rib specials, and FREE live blues concerts.

The weekend (June 10-12) is part of Murray’s month-long celebration of dark food and even darker beers. In addition to its favourites, four big, BAD dark beers will feature including the brewer’s first ‘cinnamon chocolate donut beer’, and a ‘vanilla imperial stout.  Cult favourites – ‘Wild Thing’ Imperial Stout and ‘Heart of Darkness’ Belgio Imperial Stout – will also return.

“We’re aiming to give people some great survival tools and reasons to embrace winter. Each June we bring out our darkest beers to help make winter warmer,” says brewery owner, Murray Howe. “These aren’t ordinary beers. They’re audacious, sometimes-crazy dark beers – and we’ve ensured there’s something for everyone.”

“So take a walk on the dark side and experience Port Stephens this winter!”

Delicious, beer-infused ribs specials will feature all June – with the brewer’s famous
