Wit On The Water Reopens At Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore With “Chefs Behind Bars” Cocktail Competition
On Wednesday, April 22, Wit & Wisdom will reopen its outdoor patio, Wit on the Water at Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore, featuring an unrivaled panoramic view of Baltimore’s picturesque Inner Harbor and Harbor East. Guests can relax waterside on the modern, 85-seat patio while they savour the outdoor atmosphere and scenic backdrop and indulge in the local flavours of spring and summer on the Chesapeake Bay.
To formally kick off the season, the modern American tavern is hosting Chefs Behind Bars, a cocktail competition where 100 percent of ticket sales will benefit Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign. Seven Baltimore-area chefs will compete to create the best cocktail of the evening. A People’s Choice award will be presented based on tips, and a Judges’ Choice” award will be based on the decision of six judges.
Wit & Wisdom’s Executive Chef Zack Mills will be joined by an impressive lineup of area chefs including Chris Becker of Fleet Street Kitchen, Tim Dyson of Dooby’s, Cyrus Keefer (formerly) of Fork & Wrench, Mike Ransom ofB&O Brasserie, Sergio Vitale of Aldo’s Ristorante Italiano and Bryan Voltaggio of AGGIO. Each chef will be paired with a liquor sponsor to create one signature drink that they will serve throughout the evening.

In addition to cocktail samples, guests will enjoy passed appetisers provided by Wit & Wisdom. A sample of the menu includes fresh ahi tuna poppers, crispy pork belly and first-of-the-season gazpacho. Shake Shack will also serve mini milkshakes throughout the event. Live entertainment will be provided by RIO Quartet.

This one-time event will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 beginning at 5:30 pm. Advanced tickets are USD 40 and USD 45 at the door with all proceeds benefiting No Kid Hungry. Tickets may be purchased online.
In the event of rain, Chefs Behind Bars will be rescheduled for Wednesday, April 29. While dining on the patio, guests are encouraged to use the hashtag #WitontheWater.
