With 121 Weekly Services On Offer, Travel To Your Schedule, By Day Or Night On Singapore Airlines

This week, Singapore Airlines will operate for the first time 121 weekly services from Australia, all offering seamless connections to the airline’s global network and representing a 20 per cent increase in capacity across six Australian airports since joining forces with Virgin Australia in June 2011.

Today’s introduction of a fourth daily service in Melbourne and the increase to 12 weekly services in Adelaide on Thursday mark a significant milestone in Singapore Airlines’ strategic objective of offering better connectivity between Australia and key destinations in Europe, in addition to the airline’s extensive network across Asia.

With optimal connectivity to popular destinations like London, Istanbul, Rome, Zurich and Moscow, the new services will be particularly attractive to both leisure and corporate travellers seeking to combine award winning service and latest generation on-board comforts and entertainment with faster and more convenient flight times.

Singapore Airlines’ Regional Vice President South-West Pacific Mr Subhas Menon said: “Singapore Airlines continues to be Australia’s largest foreign carrier and we’ve been committed to this market for more than 45 years. Today, with 121 flights every week, not only do we offer some of the fastest connections to the world’s most popular destinations, our customers can also plan their travel according to their own schedule, with a wider range of flight times to choose from depending on their preference for same day or overnight travel.”

The increase in flight frequency and a comprehensive global network isn’t the only benefit to SIA travellers with great value Singapore Stopover packages and a $S40 voucher given to all customers who transit at Changi Airport also available.

The increase to 121 weekly services is supported by Singapore Airlines’ biggest marketing campaign since the launch of the first A380 flight. The “Fast Forward” campaign encompasses print, out of home and online advertising.
