A national movement to counter the silencing of women’s voices in corporate Australia is underway and women in travel are being urged to take advantage of the training and a 10% discount. “I know from experience the Australian travel landscape is incredibly competitive for women starting out in their careers or mid-career,” Ms Loch said.
“After looking back on our careers, we both realised that in some cases it didn’t matter that we were the most talented, experienced or passionate people in the room. Being talked over in meetings or on industry panels, having our ideas dismissed or claimed by men in the room, suffering from imposter syndrome is something many women tell us they share.”
