WorldHotels, a global sales, marketing and distribution company with over 350 independent upscale and luxury hotels in 50 countries, announces the addition of the prestigious Gulf Court Hotel Business Bay in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to its portfolio. This move further strengthens the group’s presence in the Middle East to 11 hotels.

Situated within one of Dubai’s grandest projects – the Dubai Water Canal, Gulf Court Hotel Business Bay provides unrivalled accommodation for both business and leisure travelers. Facing the famous Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, this newly built hotel is a mere 5-minute drive from the Dubai Mall and a 25-minute drive from Dubai International Airport.. All 269 rooms and suites offer amazing canal or city views, and come with complimentary Wi-Fi, minibars, and tea and coffeemakers. For rest and recreation, guests can relax at its lagoon-size pool, work up a sweat at the gym or unwind at the spa. Those craving for a drink can lounge at the in-house bar and terrace or even belt out the latest melodies at private karaoke rooms.

“We are extremely delighted to welcome Gulf Court Hotel Business Bay into our group,” said Christina Spykerman, Executive Vice President of WorldHotels, Asia Pacific. “Over the recent years, there has been an increasing amount of business opportunities from our region to the Middle East, which translates into a corresponding need for travel and accommodations. We are excited to present this new hotel to our clients, and help to drive greater value to them.”

WorldHotels started building its relationships in the region with the appointment of Chris Bradley as Director of Hotel Development & Sales, Middle East, in 2017. Since then, Bradley has been sourcing for new business opportunities for WorldHotels’ affiliate hotels in the Middle East, and driving outbound travel from the region to other markets. To further deepen its relationships, WorldHotels has now appointed Travel Connections Arabia (TCA), the leading marketing and sales organization in the Middle East, to provide sales and marketing activities while working together with Bradley. TCA is based in Dubai, representing a unique collection of luxurious properties and acting as a regional sales and marketing office in the Middle East.

“The region is highly relationship driven and our partnership with TCA will allow us to approach multiple segments seasonally – this gives us a significant advantage in speed to market. With their experience delivering to luxury properties, TCA understands the client base and necessary initiatives to deliver market share to WorldHotels globally”, explains Bradley.
