The brainchild of Chicago entrepreneurs Kevin O’Donnell and Boyd Bruner, MODOBAG is the world’s first motorized, smart and connected carry-on aimed at savvy travelers and everyday individuals looking to get from Point A to Point B in an efficient, fun and safe manner.
MODOBAG soft-launched last Fall with an initial campaign to gauge interest among consumers and tech enthusiasts. “The response we received was incredibly positive,” says O’Donnell. “Already, more than 2300 people have pre-ordered MODOBAG, confirming our belief that leisure and business travelers are looking for innovative new ways to reach their destination.”
O’Donnell, Bruner and their design and technology teams have spent the past several months traveling the world to meet with suppliers and travel experts, as they fine-tune a MODOBAG prototype in advance of a planned Summer 2016 crowdfunding campaign and consumer rollout. The new website is the next step in MODOBAG’s launch strategy.
Set against a backdrop of sleek graphics and intuitive imagery, the site features extensive product detail, testimonials and online ordering information. There is also a media room where site visitors can engage with MODOBAG’s marketing team, and review news, specifications, upcoming events, photos and video highlighting consumer use of MODOBAG.
