The first 1823 Tea Lounge by Ronnefeldt opens today at the high-end shopping centre Gaysorn Mall in Bangkok.http://industryclub.com.au/ Based on the 192 years of Ronnefeldt’s rich history, the 1823 Tea Lounge by Ronnefeldt serves a range of more 70 premium hand-crafted Ronnefeldt Teas comprising the highest-grade leaves from the world’s most prominent tea gardens, carefully selected by Ronnefeldt’s Owners and Tea Tasters.

Conceived by the NEXT Hospitality Group and honed in partnership with Ronnefeldt, this iconic and timeless concept embodies the true spirit of Ronnefeldt along with decades of craftsmanship and tradition in tea blending whilst presenting a trend-setting perspective to the world’s most consumed beverage.

The family owned company Ronnefeldt from Frankfurt, Germany looks back to seven generations with roots in China being set at the beginning of the 20th century. The 1823 Tea Lounge by Ronnefeldt is a unique destination concept with subtle classic and contemporary European influences debuting at the prestigious Gaysorn Shopping Centre, Bangkok. The new venue is a place to be seen and a welcoming and hospitable attraction to interact with other tea lovers.

The Tea Lounge concept will showcase a wide range of loose-leaf teas for discerning tasting pleasure and for retail, packaged in specially designed tins. Two blends have been created exclusively by Ronnefeldt for the Lounge: ‘The Bangkok Blend’ and ‘The Gaysorn Blend’.

These especially crafted blends will not be available anywhere else worldwide.

A variety of other Ronnefeldt teas available include the international green tea bestseller Morgentau® and collections such as Teastar®, Tea Couture, and White Collection (available in it’s entrety for the first time in Thailand at the Tea Lounge).

An extensive array of tasty Austro-German and international pastries, quality macaroons and chocolates (some tea-infused), cakes, signature afternoon tea sets, and light meals will be offered throughout the day.
