WORLDWIDE Asia holiday tour operator, Wendy Wu Tours, has just completed its annual global leadership team conference at the modern Club Med in Guilin, to develop plans for even greater growth over the next five years.
The occasion provided more than 45 senior management and top-selling sales executives from head offices in Australia, United Kingdom, USA, New Zealand and China with an invaluable opportunity to exchange ideas and concepts for further growth.
Newly appointed London-based CEO Joe Karbo and founder Wendy Wu briefed the group on the benefits of joint international events to share strategies and methods which, as a result of combined efforts between country offices, contributed to a highly successful year for the company.
Ms Wu told the group, “Whenever there is the opportunity to meet with teams from around the globe, it’s always very special for me. I have been fortunate enough to see the business evolve and grow over the years, and this wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication and hard work of individuals in all our global offices and in particular our China operatives”.
“I look forward to 2017 with the same optimism and joy as I did when we began this journey in 1994”.
Mr Karbo stated that company events, such as this, reinforce the commitment to continue growing and delivering Wendy Wu Tours’ products and services internationally.
“Whilst our operations are in various markets across the globe, our focus and goals to provide a high level of service standard and product experience is universal. It is always morally beneficial for international staff to spend some quality social time together and be recognised for particular achievements”.
The event was capped off with an Award Night to recognise the year’s top sellers and achievers in the business that made significant contributions to such a successful year.
