X-Men: Apocalypse on special AirAsia X flight in collaboration with Twentieth Century Fox

Travellers to Perth on board flight D7 232 which departed from Kuala Lumpur today were treated to an X-Men: Apocalypse themed journey, with characters from the newly-released Hollywood blockbuster movie on-board as well. 


Bradley Dennis (Age 29) from Ellenbrook, Perth impressed other passengers with his rapping skills to the theme song of the X-Men:Apocalypse movie theme song and won himself a pair of flights to Osaka, Japan.

The flight which is operated on an Airbus A330 also donned an X-Men: Apocalypse aircraft livery, apart from having its cabin interior decorated with the same theme.

Benyamin Ismail, Chief Executive Officer of AirAsia X Berhad as well as Arik De, Head of Commercial for AirAsia X Berhad also made special appearances as the Wolverine and Cyclops characters respectively, and interacted with all guests on board with games and X-Men: Apocalypse movie merchandise giveaways.

This special X-Men: Apocalypse themed flight is part of AirAsia X’s collaboration with Twentieth Century Fox in promoting the highly-anticipated blockbuster movie, which included a special sales campaign to selected AirAsia X destinations in the past month.

Benyamin said, “We are very happy to collaborate with Twentieth Century Fox to promote X-Men: Apocalypse to our guests. The popularity of this superhero franchise indeed transcends borders, and that is exactly what AirAsia X hopes to achieve as well with our extensive route network across the region along with our short-haul affiliate, the AirAsia Group.”

This movie is available in cinemas nationwide now.
