Starting from 2016, Y Loft extends its long-stay package from overseas and mainland exchange students at local universities and institutes to international young people who come to Hong Kong for internships.
A twin room rate for 30 consecutive nights is HK$9,600 (an additional 10% service charge applies). It also offers aconcession rate to youth organizations or youth activities held by non-profit organizations or International Student Identity Card (ISIC) and International Youth Travel Card (IYTC) members. The concession rate ceiling for a Twin Room is HK$640 or US$82 per night (additional 10-20% seasonal discount for 3 consecutive nights or above and an additional 10% service charge apply).
Over the years, Y Loft has gained wide support among local and overseas organizations: Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps, Hong Kong Dance Federation, Music for our Young Foundation, International Youth Council, Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, Hong Kong Model United Nations Club, Roundtable Research and Education Community, Dragon Foundation, China Youth Leaders Foundation, Hong Kong Association of Youth Development, and International Youth Cultural Exchange Association had all organized student exchange camps at Y Loft.
From 1-9 May 2016, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology is going to arrange over 100 participants of the 2016 Asia Physics Olympiad to reside in Y Loft, showing that it is not only well received by international travellers, but also youth organizations from different sectors.
In additional, free cultural guided tours and workshops are organized for tourists to show the many colors of Hong Kong. In April, Y Loft has arranged a “Sightseeing Big Bus Tour” for 24 guests to visit tourist spots like the Golden Bauhinia Square, Man Mo Temple, PMQ, Lan Kwai Fong and IFC, enabling them to appreciate the diverse culture of Hong Kong from different views.
From May 5-7, Youth Square will also host the Mother’s Day Handicraft Workshop at the 2/F Y Theatre. Young travellers staying at Y Loft are welcome to participate.
To enrich the accommodation experience of young people in Hong Kong, Y Loft has provided travellers with various facilities and concessions, including free local calls, wifi, a fitness center, 10% off at the restaurants in Youth Square, free access to reserve the piano room and a multi-purpose room to facilitate all kind of youth programs.
