Yamazato Launches New Gozen Set Dinner Menu

Fans of fine Japanese cuisine in Bangkok are sure to welcome and appreciate the new Gozen set dinner menu at Yamazato – the signature restaurant at the five star Okura Prestige Bangkok.

Master Chef Shigeru Hagiwara has created another masterpiece that is bound to win the hearts and minds of Bangkok’s knowledgeable dining crowd.

TDinner Gozen at Yamazatohe menu, priced at Baht 2,000 net per person, begins with a platter of edamame sesame tofu, okra and Chinese wolf berry fruit, followed by a hot clear soup with vegetable dumpling, shimeji mushroom and yuzu citrus. The sashimi is a delicious presentation of tuna, yellowtail and squid and this is followed by grilled salmon with teriyaki sauce, salad and tomato.

The simmered dish is pork belly with potato starchy sauce and snow peas, and this is followed by tempura shrimp with sillago and vegetable. The Gozen set menu from Master Chef Shigeru Hagiwara, which concludes with Sushi roll, miso soup and dessert, is available nightly from 6:00 pm -10:30 pm until 30 November 2014.

The hotel’s Sommelier Marc Bittner has recommended wines and sakes to accompany this new menu. Guests may select a glass of wine or carafe of sake for Baht 450 net.
